This 5-10 minute presentation should describe the steps your group went through in coming up with its design, including all the false steps and blind alleys. One of the goals of this course is to enable you to reflect on and change your way of approaching a problem whenever necessary.
A diagram is often helpful in presenting a group's (or individual's) invention process. For example, Gorman and a group of colleagues -- including students -- constructed flow-charts to describe Bell's processes. You will be given a chance to inspect these flowcharts and even to try to construct your own in an effort to model your own group's processes.
